I'm looking to buy an ak-47 and i have narrowed my choices down to a romanian or egyptian maadi. I was wondering if one is better than the other? 0 -
I'm guessing what you're looking at is a semi-auto AK-47, imported by the company as stamped on the reciever.
If it is a Romanian that takes the double stack standard AK magazine, in excellent condition, $300 sounds about right.
If it is one of the Romanian imports which had the single stack magazine, $300 is too much.
A picture or more detailed description (e.g. furniture? metal finish? optics side rail? etc.) would probably get you more responses; just knowing the importer doesn't always tell a lot about the firearm itself.0 -
That is one of the Romanian AK's from the first year they started coming in back in 1997. They were later imported by others and used different model designations. 0
