What is the value of a Sterling Arms (Lockport, NY) 22LR Stainless Automatic Pistol??? Tks.

  Since you don't mention the model number of your pistol, I'll take a guess that it is a Model 302S as these were the stainless steel pocket automatics offered by this now defunct company. If I remember correctly the Lockport marking means your pistol was made sometime after 1978, about the time the 302S was introduced. Back then a factory fresh Model 302S cost $85.95. Today a NIB example would probably retail for around $150 and the value would drop like a rock as condition falls off. Sterling made a large number of various model handguns...none of which were remarkable or have any collector interest. I've picked up a few Sterlings over the years in auction lots and estate sales and was never inclined to keep any of them.
