I have found it to be extremely easy to use and get consistant results with. I'm sometimes pretty haphazard with applying it. It is a very forgiving formula.

I like the cleaner just as much as the bluing. It pulls the rust out without touching the original blue. I was dubious at first because it calls for 000 steel wool to be used and I used it on a junk barrel first. It does what it says.

i have used this blue often. cant say enough good about it. if you are unsure , go to the general discussion forum and ask there. maybe kgnovum(owner of Novum solutions, maker of blue wonder) will send you a free sample. i have NEVER heard anything bad about it. my gunsmith could not tell it from factory on a taurus i did

It may be on the expensive side but it sure is nice to get what you pay for. It works like a dream and as already stated it is forgiving. Just follow the simple directions.

This is more than once I've heard of how expensive this stuff is, just how bad is it? I live here in the midwest, and I've contacted a gun dealer who supposedly carries it to try and get some but no response from him.

Anybody know where I can get it?

I have used it several times and have had various results. Sometimes I have gotten excellent results and sometimes the results were so so. The magazine tube and forearm cap on a Marlin 336-A had to be done three times before the blueing would take and some times the blueing will be spotted or streaked. Also, I don't think that the blueing is as durable as hot dipped blueing.

Just to add my enthusiastic endorsement for the product . . . for that matter, the whole line. One of the few companies I've ever found in any business where the products perform as well or better than the claims made for them.

Price? Y, it costs more than a bottle of G96 . . . but for sure you get what you pay for.

Midway and Brownell's both carry it. And if you go to Novum's site, they have a list of dealers nationally broken down by state:

I blew the $40 on Blue Wonder blue. Unable to make it work. Had several email exchanges and phone calls with BW people trying about five times to get results. Finally gave up and used Belgian Blue. Their Blue Wonder cleaner is great however. I have used it on dark bores and had some come out like new.

Best touch-up blue I've ever used. I will soon do a complete reblue on a 1911 with it, and expect the same results.
