Beretta 8040D mini cougar .40

Hi everyone! I'm wondering if anyone knows if it is true that a Beretta 96FS mag will fit into an 8040D mini cougar if equipped with Beretta mag sleeves. If not, is there any other factory interchangable mag I can put into an 8040D (kind of like Ruger P-series 9mm)? Thanks for any help that anyone can offer.
