Bore Sighter question
Anyone here have experience with Cabela's Magnetic Bore Sighter?
At fifty-bucks it looks like a good deal.

no but for 50 bucks you can get a NcTAR laser bore sighter with arbors ranging from 15 cal all the way to 55cal which is greatstick the arbor in the barrel tighten doen attach the laser point at a target and adjust the crosshairs till they meet the dot 0 -
I'm sure a bore sighter is a good investment, however, I have never used one. On a bolt action, I remove the bolt, look down the barrel and set the line of sight 1-2" lower than target zero at 25 yards. I then set the scope at zero on the target. Take shots until the holes are center and 1-2" below zero. Then you should be able to hit paper at 100 yards and set from there. 0 -
