Found a reference in "FLAYDERMAN'S GUIDE" that might? shed light on your revolvers heritage.

Otis A. Smith Company of Rockfall Connecticut was a manufacture of and held many patents on pocket revolvers during the 1870's-1890's.
Many of their spur trigger revolvers are often only marked with the caliber "NO. 22", "NO. 41". Similar to yours.
"No other makers names or markings otherwise appearing" according to FLAYDERMAN.
