I need some info on a Worthington SxS 12 Ga. it has double trigger, full sidelocks and it has real tight chokes a dime stops about 1 inch below the chamber. it is tight and seems like it should function OK but I am going to find a new owner. It is not damascus steel it is proof. Your "Worthington" was actually made by Crescent Arms Co. of Norwich, CT for the George Worthington Company of Cleveland, OH.
Crescent made thousands of reasonably well made, but inexpensive, "hardware store guns" for a large number of mail order houses and hardware stores with their own private labels on them.
Many of these were made in the blackpowder era, and are not safe with modern shotgun loads.
Depending on condition, values are:
70% = $85
80% = 100
90% = 1250 -
