The Model 92 FS is the now standard pistol in the 92 Series and has a suggested retail price of $676. Any time you see a "W" after a Beretta Model number it idicates that pistol is fitted with wooden stocks (or "grips" if you prefer). This option was discontinued a few years ago and used to add about $30 to the cost of the pistol in question. The Model 92D was a double action only version of the older Model 92F and had no manual safety. The "D" Model 92 was discontinued about the same time as the wooden stock option and the old retail price was about $590. The 92 Vertec is a Model 92 with a different grip angle, shorter reach trigger, and an accessory rail on the lower front of the frame, along with a few other features. Suggested retail is $712 or $762 in stainless steel (the Inox).
