Everything your looking for is on the REMINGTON web-site.

The Remington site has some mis-information on the Nylon rifles.

For accurate info on all of the Remington Nylons, including how to correctly date the non-serial numbered Nylons, check out this site:

The Remington web site only contains the firearms model history. I have copies of the field manual and ALL literature and adds pertaining to the Nylon 66 and all variations. If interested, let me know in a posting.

    Hope this helps.

Its really amazing how many gunsmiths won't touch a Nylon 66. In fact i think of it as a bragging right for someone who can put one back together properly.

Thank you LEEBLACKMAN.......They can be troublesome items..I charge $50.00 to move all the guts of one with a broken stock to a good stock. Reassembly of the trigger group ( actulally should call them trigger pieces) is one that an exploded view drawing won't help with. I can do it ..it takes awhile, Thank you for the opportunity to brag a little...
