FAL G series ##1505 what is it worth

Just thinking of selling my g series not sure what the going price is gun is in very good condition not perfect but very nice.

  I could hardly disagree more with Dr. Pig. Similar appearance of imitations does not reduce the value of the real thing. If it were so, my copy of Whistler's Mother would reduce the value of and demand for the real thing. It does not. The value of the real thing is independent of the value of imitations. Some are happy with the imitations, but thre are always those who are willing to pay for the real thing. The value of the real thing is established by what a willing seller and willing buyer agree.
  
  I see no reduction in the value of the more scarce "assault weapons," and the "G" series Browning/FN has always been near the top of the value heap, even well before the ban.
  
  Put the rifle on the auction site and let the market dictate its current value, but warned that the market for such a rifle is small, as it is for most collector items of major value.
