The "Mini-14 in 7.62x39" is actually called the "Mini-30". You don't say whether you're getting the Mini or giving it in the trade.

In dollar amounts you're looking at two items which are priced pretty close--it would probably be a "good deal" for each side if each person get's what he wants.

It depends which version of the gun (and which one it is - a 14 or a 30), comp is right the 14 is a .223, whereas the 7.62 x 39 is a 30).
The ranges for the 14 stainless start at $375 and go up to $600 (folding stock), whereas the 30 ranges from $385 to $415 (figures according to Gun Traders Guide - 23rd edition). Your Glock 27's values range from $375 to $495 depending on options.
Value-wise, I don't think it is a too bad of a deal. I'd see if he'll let you shoot the gun first (especially if it is a mini-14), there seems to be some accuracy issues.
If the Ruger is pre-ban, I'd definately trade!
    my 2 cents worth...

It doesn't matter what you shoot, just shoot it well...
