Kirkbride SxS muzzle loading pistol

I have been offered a .36 double barrel flintlock pistol made by a smith named Kirkbride. Made in 1969. No:7 A very beautifull gun. It has a folding knife on top. Very professional work. Engraved and gold inlays. The current owner says it was bought at Friendship, Indiana in the early 70's. My question is: Is Kirkbride a known gunsmith in muzzle loading circles? Are his items in demand. Where would I find out?

  Never heard of Him...You might consider contacting a Muzzle Loader Club in your area and seeing if you can get a copy of The Muzzle Blast Magazine....That ought to put You where You want to be...I Wish You Well.......
