Hot load for 270 win.

The leftover IMR4350 that I wanted to put to use was from a hot hand load I worked up for my 270 winchester mannlincher 19" bbl. The load was 55.0 gr.IMR 4350 which filled to the top beneath a 130gr. sierra boattail SP. Benched it shot 3-hole groups at 200yds. Guess without the 270 I will be dumping the rest of this can.

  Must be quite a bit different than H-4350 a short extruded powder I seem to recall 57.? gr and still had a little space in the case after seating the 130 gr. spitz. bt. And that was not as fast as I could go. It did give the best groups though.

  According to my older Lyman manual,that was the factory duplication load at the time,Bob.
