What is the value of a brand new never shot belgium made Browning Light 12. It was bought new in 1972. Still has original box and owner's manual as well, model D-926, serial number 71G-84357

  Prices will probably vary across the country but in my neck of the woods if'n I had it in my store I would guess it would sell for 1000-1200 bucks. Have to find the right person tho.

  Pelican... You live!!! Some frosty nights down there on the gulf I hear.
  
  Anyway, here in the balmy Southern Tier of NY the Light 12 will bring only about $800 to $900. A Sweet 16, on the other hand, will easily bring the $1,200 noted if in new condition.
  
  As Pelican said, it's a matter of geography. Local game regulations, family traditions, and personal preferences will play a huge part in what a gun is worth.
