Cheapest Ammo Anywhere...Net / Gunshow..etc

Thanks for all your replies to my prior qustion. Gotta new one. I noticed a lot of you talked about buying cheap ammo at the gunshow or
through mail orders, or in bulk cases.
My question is can you please share the names of websites, or catalogs
where you buy this cheap ammo from. I'm looking for cheap (but not bad) ammo for target practice, regardless of quantity. If anyone has had a good experience with a certain brand, or dealer please share that info with the rest of us.
I have a magazine from 'Cheaper than dirt'. And they sell Wolf, Sellier & Bellot, for a decent price. Is this ammo the best for the price one can find???? Also they sell ammo called, Made in Russia (non-corrosive) bulk ammo for 7.62X39 and for .223. Is this ammo any good?? And is it okay to use in some expensive weapons, like AR-15 and auto pistols? (Well, any gun over $500 is expensive for me)

I have had some bad experience with wolf ammo, for cheap target shooting i usually get S&B in my handguns and my AR's, but occasionally ive found some cheap winchester usa for my AR 15. but if you realy want to get cheaper and better ammo you should consider reloading your own, its not as hard as some think. 0 -
IMO, 'Cheaper than Dirt' usually isn't! My impression is that they tend to be a little high on prices for some things. 0 -

Thanks for your input, could you share with us who is better in pricing then. As for reloads, I've no clue what its all about, and don't wanna take chances with guns&ammo. Besides, I dont have too much time to learn all the history etc...on the issue of reloading.
Any other suggestions..?????

You can check out Cheaper than Dirt from the GB site. Get a copy of Shotgun News. It will have a bunch of ammo ads. I use Wolf only in the AK. Everthing else I use S&B for general use. I get a number of cats. but have found that the shipping costs just kill the deal. I go to the Indy 1500 to buy ammo. Prices are a little higher than the catalogs but I can wheel it to the car.

I have tried to buy from cheaper than dirt but they will not ship to illinois. I have bought several thousand rounds of S&B from Ammo to go in the ammo section of gunbroker. I can actualy buy cheaper from him than i can my cost at the store i work at. 0 -
When I ordered I found www.outdoor-source.com to be pretty good. I think I paid $160/1000 of portugese .308 ammo and $94/1000 for 7.62x39. That was after shipping. The .308 was cheaper than gunshows around here and the 7.62 was about the same.
Just looked at my latest CtD catalog and the .308 was $30/200, so that's $150 and if shipping is over $10 (which I bet it is) that's more than I paid. I see their wolf looks to be about the same.
Take cbxjeff's advice and get a copy of shotgun news! Best way to shop for best price.0 -

Last time I was at Cabelas wolf 7.62 x 39 was 74.99 - 1000 rounds and they also had winchester .223 1.99 - 20 round box limit 40 boxes I barley could carry it all to my pickup truck
