Why, what is wrong with them? Thanks 0 -
Shoddily built, they are a lot like the 45LC derringers made by the same firm. They're throw away weapons. Buy/build one, grind off the serial #'s, shoot someone, throw it away. I wouldn't stand near or behind that gun when it went off, no guarantees as to which end is more deadly. [;)] 0 -

Anyone ever have any real experience with FMJ/Leinad products, or do you just know they are low budget? Anyone ever hear of any kabooms with one? I thought not. As to standing behind one and being concerned for safety, I know a guy who took one of the flare guns, a pistol of the same basic design with the plastic barrel, and loaded it with an Aguilla short 12 gauge shell. Sure, the plastic barrel blew up, but it blew up away from him, he wasn't hurt at all, and neither was the frame of the gun. He put another barrel on it and with a few modifications (such as replacing the hammer for the firing pin) has fired many 3" 410 shells through it. The hammer was replaced just for the location of the firing pin, not because the original was damaged. A different friend, very much into cowboy action shooting, has been very impressed with the accuracy of the little things (derringer). I myself own several FMJ/Leinad/Daniel derringers along with several other guns in the $1,000+ price range. For inexpensive guns, if you want a handgun/derringer/shotgun that can shoot .410 shells, how much do you want to spend?

Yeppers B-man, I used to sell the 45/.410 double derringers and the cm-11 9mm carbines. Had too stop selling them, I got tired of sending them back to TN for repairs.
