New trigger for Ruger MK - suggestions

I recently purchased a KMK-678. After putting about 2K rounds through it, I have decided to change the trigger. The pull is too heavy for me and has some side to side play I don't like. I consistantly pull shots to the right when shooting right handed and to the left when using the left hand. I use the 'off-hand' to support and steady the shooting hand at all times. No rest or any extra support. I'm off by about an inch at 15 yards and it gets worse at 25 yards.
So far, I have located triggers by Clark, Marvel, and Voquartsen. Vo. also sells an accurizing kit that includes hammer, sear, springs, etc along with the trigger.
Anyone with experience with any of these, or other brands, please let me know your suggestions/experience.

  I have the exact same gun as you. I am a bulseye shooter and have put one of the clark trigers into my gun. I had a very good smith put it in, and with a little polishing on some other parts he got the trigger to break nice and clean at 2.65 lbs.
  I am also the president of the Pistol Club at the university I attend. The club ownes 8 rugers and we have had clarks put into about half of our culb guns. We have tried the volquestern(sp?)in two others. The members always ask for the guns with the clarks over any other.
  Clarks are not that expensive but make sure you have a good smith put them in.

  Why don't you just take the gun to a reputable gunsmith and have the factory trigger adjusted? I did that with a Ruger 77 .243 and the pull was reduced to 3 lbs; it shoots great! The gunsmith charged me practically nothing.

  Thanks, I might try that. A target trigger from the three mentioned is about $25.00.
  I need light, as holding that almost 3 pound puppy out there causes the old hands to shake fairly quick. My understanding is that the triggers in question give a crisp pull of about 2.5 lbs. That would be a major improvement.
  Did anyone go with the target sear and hammer? Got any info about them?

  I have a Ruger Mk II Slabslides. I had a Volq. trigger installed. Excellent product and results. I have used other Volq. products and all have been excellent.
