Sentinel Deluxe 22 High Standard hand gun

I believe this gun to be made between 1968 and 1972.Made in Hamden,Conn. Serial number 20623xx. R-107

Does anyone have any more info on this hand gun?

  Nobody will be impressed with you at the range, but you will have FUN. They are pretty well made and take a lot of abuse. You won't live long enough to wear it out and they are pretty accurate for what they are and fill the hand very nice. It's the sort of gun you keep and will probably shoot more than most of the others. I'm jealous.

  I have one also, great hand gun. I keep mine loaded with shotshells for rattlesnakes. Although I need a new front sight for mine, any ideas where to get one?

  Had one back in the late 60's and like a fool I traded it in on a nickle plated Double Nine. The sentinel was a real shooter but the Double Nine isn't. At least not for me. Should have kept the Sentinel.

  i have a sentinel mkII in the .357/.38, 6 shot. first gun i bought,my daughter loves to shoot it with me, lots of fun, anyone know where i might be able to get rubber type grips for it like the S&W revolvers? this thing has a wierd short but to it when the 1 piece wooden door stop i mean grip is removed.

  Pantera 7974, the centerfire High Standard revolvers were made by Dan Wesson as I recall. I think any stock for a DW will fit your Sentinel.
