Kwik Klip Conversion for Rem 700, From BDL action,

I was looking at purchasing the Kwik Klip conversion ( Aftermarket Part ) to change over from the BDL Drop plate set up to a removeable magazine set up, On a Remington 700 BDL rifle. I would like comments on the Kwik Klip set up, Does it drop right in without any fitting as stated by manufacturer ? How well is the quality, Does it seem like its made cheap, Or is it a high quality item thats made to last more then a life time ? Whent you install these do you need to modify the feed rails to make it work properly ? When you insert and remove the magazie does it feel cheap or well made ?
High quality or Junk

I would like to here comments about any good or bad experiances with this product.

  I can't attest to the conversion, so maybe I shouldn't be replying... However, I have a Remington 700 BDL SS with factory detatchable magazine. For almost every situation, I think I'd rather have the standard blind-mag or just the bottom latch to empty the magazine. For hunting, I just never shoot more than the 3 +1 capacity, and you can't reload just a single shell from the top, you have to pop out the magazine just to top it off (I guess that is like most mag rifles). From the prone position from a bi-pod, it is especially useless. I usually just use it as a single-shot when sighting in just for that reason.
  
  That is just my 2 cents worth, I'd borrow a DM rifle and mess with it a little while before you considered conversion. If you're still hooked, why not go with the factory parts - especially if it is still under warranty.

  I put one on a 30/06 a few years ago. I never had a problem with it. The conversion is as easy as they say. I think the clip feels a little cheap put has not let me down yet. Back when I did this Remington was not making the DM rifle so I didn't have a choice. I think the factory setup is much nicer. However for the $45.00 I sent on the conversion I can't complain.

  Would like to here a few more comments please.
  Martzkj, As far as you stating about the clip be made somewhat cheap, Could you please be a little more specific, does it fit in trigger housing lousey ? Also I herd they rattle and make noises, Any comments on this.
  I'm getting mixed feelings on this conversion and need some more input to make a decision.
