Value of these weapons ?

I've got a few weapons I'm thinking of selling but I'm not sure what they are worth.

Ruger .44 Mag. 3-screw / flattop, SA revolver, 6" barrel, year of manufacture 1959....cond., very good.

Winchester pump action .22 cal. rifle, Model 62, ser. # in the 650 range....cond., good.

Taurus .357 mag, blue, double action, looks like a Smith & Wesson,
cond., excellent, almost new.

I know the Ruger is fairly rare and may well be sought after by a collector, so if I decide to sell it I'd like to get a reasonable price for it.

Or if anyone might be interested in doing any trading, I am looking to get a model 1911 .45 acp, Springfield mil spec would be fine.

Captain,I don't mean any disrespect but where do you get your prices and product infomation from ? The 2001 Blue Book says Blackhawk Flat-Top.44 Magnum in 95% cond.6.5" Barrel $495.00,7.5" Barrel $700.00 and 10" Barrel $925.00 I never heard of a Super Blackhawk Flat Top.

ATF, I believe you are right. The Flat top, 3-screw black hawk was a limited transition model. It was Ruger's first .44 mag developed from the already produced .357 mag frame. The light weight frame makes it more a collector than a shooter. It was soon replaced by the "new model blackhawk", and the "super blackhawk" is all together a different animal.
BTW I have to agree with your assesment of it's value. I had a gun store quote as high as $800 for the pistol in excellant condition.

They only made about 28,000 of them from 1956-1963! Wish I had one[:(]

I will be putting it up for sale as soon as I get a chance to read thru the seller's rules. I'll be looking to get about $400 out of it. It's in excellent condition.

Sorry Captain,your data base is way off.Check the Blue Book & Standard Catalog of Firearms.These books are most used by FFLs.Also the information is off.They never made a .44 Super Blackhawk Flat Top.

Concievably Possible, Never claimed to be infallable.....I do remember when the Blackhawk 1st came out in .44 Mag, it was with the Rounded Trigger Guard...A real Knuckle Buster...! Ruger would at that time for a small nominal FEE make a Factory Conversion and replace the Trigger Guard with the Square Guard...and up-grade the cylinder to the Non-fluted Cylinder...If memory serves...I believe in 1957/58 the Factory Conversion Cost my Step-Father (H.E.MacFarland---Dope Bag Editor and Staff Writer for the American Rifleman)..around $50.00...I'll have to pull the File and see how its intered in my Data Base...and update and modernize the subject....

Reddog, The Ruger and the .22 are obviously the cream of the lot. I'd guess your Taurus .357 (Mod? 65, 66, 605?)would bring between $200.00 and $275.00. Around here they sell in about the same range as a comparable Ruger and S&W.
