.I have been looking at Taurus Trackers since they came out and still have not decided whether or not to buy one. Intended use would be on backpacking trips (were weight does matter) and bush flights in Alaska. I like the feel and looks and was just wondering about anyone that owns one thinks of it. Looking at Titanium with 6-inch barrel.
O and I have already heard all about .357 and bears thanks

I had a 4 in and liked it, but, like a dumy, I sold it to a friend. I would go with the 4 in, when carring it that 2 in make a big differance. I carried mine in a cross draw holster so it did not hit my pack frame. Hope that helped.[^]
PS: I hand loaded some 180 gr XTP's to 1200 fps, w/o excesive presure for carring in the bush.

I have the matte stainless 6 in .357mag Tracker. The gun is a great shooter. The best compliment I can give it is that everyone who shoots it wants it. It that good!!! Buy it you won't regret the purchase. 0 -
Wondering if anyone has tried the 45acp tracker???

My opinion - go with the .41 Magnum in a 4 inch barrel (Model 425). This is available in either titanium (24 oz.) or stainless steel (30 oz.)
Kick it. Don't kiss it.0
