Does Redfield recondition scopes like Leupold or Weaver?

I believe they currently only work on recent models of Redfield. For a while both Redfield and Weaver were produced by Blount, but they sold and I think no longer work on Weaver or others. There ae some independant guys with good reps for service and someone will likely give you some names/links shortly.

Leupold certainly handles their own warrenty and repair work.

Try going to www.abousainc.com. According to the web page I pulled up when looking up Redfield scopes they are the exclusive Redfield repair facility. Pull up the website and they have a place to email them and other data.

I asked Cabela's to send me information on the Redfield repair facility (since they sell Redfields) and they gave me a Denver number (1-303-757=6411) to call. Might check that number out also

I called Simmons as they are the current marketers of the new Redfields in regards to an old model Redfield. They didn't offer service but offered to trade a new model for the old one. In my case it was 103.00 and the old 6x18 for a new Golden Five Star 6x18. You didn't have to trade equal powers but could trade up or down. GHD
