Lee Powder Bushings

I just started reloading with a Lee pro 1000. I'm looking for info on the powder bushings. I'm loading 45ACP with a 230gr. RNL bullet. I was starting with 5.5 grains of Tite Group. According to my Lee Safty Scale bushing #.49 is pretty close. My loading manual starts with bushing .095 and says this is 15.6gr of powder. Where can I find the data on the bushings I have? Thanks

  Contact Lee directly and get the data from them. I'm sure it is either available on line by snail mail. Can't picture 15.6 grains of any powder in the .45 ACP, for myriad reasons.

  I always test the bushings by weighing the charges. I have found the charts to sometimes be off by up to 10 percent on light loads. One trick I learned is to throw 10 charges in the scale pan and weigh them. Divid the total by 10 and you have a good idea of what the average throw will be. I make my own charts and check them when I get a new batch of powder.

  Some reloading manuals have the bushing sizes in the back.

  Thanks guys, I looked at Lees websight and could'nt find what I was looking for. I was weighing the powder using the Lee scale, a cheep balance beem one. Any way bushing #49 is about 5.3grains. Not trying to expermint, just want to load a few to test over the weekend.
