trap/ skeet/ clays
I KNOW THIS SOUNDS STPID BUT IT'S AND ON GOING BATTLE AROUND HERE AND WE ARE GOING TO SETTLE IT ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!!!!HAHAHAHAHAHAHA what are the differences of shooting trap, shooting skeet, and shooting sproting clays? any help is good help. thanx

In TRAP the targets come out of a single position and are thrown away from the shooter. The shooters shoot 5 shots from each of 5 positions so a 25 rnd box is used for each run.
In SKEET the shooters move around the field and shoot from eight different positions, and the targets are thrown from a high house and a low house. At positions 1-2-6&7 you shoot singles and doubles, and from positions 3-4-5-& 8 you shoot singles only from both houses. In skeet the targets going toward and away from the shooter, as well as across the range.
In SPORTING CLAYS the shooters move from stand to stand, and shoot a variety of positions at ground level or up on a high stand. The targets fly in a variety of angles from the left or right, from overhead and even on the ground. This is the most challenging.0 -
