I bought a Mod 98 Yugo rework at a gunshow today. Looks like a German K98 (handguard stops at the front of the rear sight)
Laminated stock. dated 5 29 41. Stock and cupped buttplate

Receiver. Bottom of receiver stamped a H and a W. Trigger stamped
eagle 655. Yugo stamp on reciever ring. Stamped PREDUZEOE 44
Barrel. Stamped BW (in a box) also a 61 a 3 and a 03.
Handguard. marked CLB/0/31
Bolt. Eagle proofs
Serial numbers match (forced).

Any ideas on who made the receiver?

"PREDUZECE 44" means FACTORY NUMBER 44, according to my book. This was marked on war surplus K 98's that were refurbished in Yugoslavia after W W II. Most all the originial German factory marks were removed. So it's going to be very diffcult to say who was the orginal arsenal who manufactured the rifle? 0
