If you haven't already, check the CZ section on rimfirecentral.com and search through the old threads. Different scope/ring combos have been discused at some length there.

Have you contacted the importer and asked for suggestions? They may even offer Czech-made mounts and rings for sale.

It sounds like you have some rings that fit the reciever, that's good. You mentioned that the problem is eye relief and clearing the bolt. I would suggest getting a set of medium or high mount rings. That should solve your problem. Go to you local gun shop or gunsmith and I'm sure they will be able to help you. If you want original CZ rings, they go for about $60.

There are different, and easy solutions to this situation.

I stock rings/bases by many different companies from low to high and with fore & aft offsets.
Even have risers, and adaptors that go from CZ to Weaver/cross slot.

Since the rifle is more of an adult size, not all compacts-short tubes work well due to positioning the scope.

Scope will need to be higher.
You can also switch to a full sized scope for setback.

Email me at jabsao@msn.com for hardware.

    Happy Bullet Holes!

Thanks to all, good suggestions. I just can't justify to myself, spending $60 for scope rings for a rile I spent about $250 for. While it may solve my problem, I think I'll check out the other options suggested. Thanks to all.

mounting a scope so high on a rimfire is dumb and renders it useless for close range work. i solved this problem by reshaping the bolt handle and it looks better than the factory oem.

There is another alternative. I use Simmons .22 Mag series scopes on all my BRNO & CZ .22s. They come with scope mounts which work perfectly with those rifles & I've never had a problem with Simmons products. Been using them for over 15 years. You have your choice of either 4x or 3X9x.

I am not sure about the rimfire models but the center fire models use a ring that is a metric size they are smaller than a Weaver 1 inch rings I think Millet may make a ring for CZ

e-mail me as I believe I have 2 sets of rings that will fit a CZ. One is 30mm and the other is 1". You can have them as I no longer own a CZ.
