Young American Pistol

  The Harrington and Richardson Young America, Double Action Revolver..Solid Frame, Calibers 22 Long, 32 S&W. 7 shot cylinder (.22cal), 5-shot {.32cal). Barrel lengths: 2-, 4 1/2- and 6 inch..Weight: about 9 oz. Fixed sights. Blued or Nickled finish..Hard Rubber Grips...Discontinued at beginning of WW2...In Good Shooting Condition....Worth $75.00 to $100.00....Actually No great Collector Demand for these type of Old Guns....

  to give just a little bit more information on the young american h&r revolver. they were produced from 1887 until 1941. the early models manufactured from 1887-1905 are designed for black powder cartridge pressures, after 1905 for smokeless powder cartridge pressures.
  
  1887-1905; the only markings are the model name on the frame top strap
  1905-1941; harrington & richardson co. worcester, mass. added to the left side of barrel.
  
  go easy on these old revolvers and remember their age.
