Swiss Vetterli - Anybody know about these?

I saw a Swiss Vetterli today. Very unusual looking old gun in great condition. I believe it was a Model 1881. I was wondering if anybody might have any idea what one is worth. Very good condition, and looked to be unmodified. Any help is appreciated.

  $200 to $400 depending on condition, parts, arsenal, etc. Note that these are rimfire and if not modified canot be fired as there is no ammunition available. CF conversions are fairly easy.

  I don't dispute Jonk in his valuation of the Vetterli if it's sold in this country, but I was told by a Gun Dealer who specializes in antique guns that the high dollar market for Vetterlis was back in Switzerland. He told me he could sell all the ones that were matching and in excellent condition or rare variations for much more over there then they would bring on this side of the pond.
