HK EXPERT HI-CAP MAG
A few months ago, I purchased a HK expert "white" hi-cap mag from a person on this site. I have heard rumors that these "white" mags are illegally smuggled and are not true preban hi-caps. I was not too worried about these rumors until I noticed that nobody seems to be selling them anymore. Does anyone know about these clips?

still looking for information on this topic......does anybody know anything about this? 0 -
There's usually some info here-

I heard these are post ban mags that are imported (illegally) from Germany. They are not marked LEO. so many people believe they are legal to own. However HK didn't come out with them until after 1994. Ask on the HK board, usually starts a big arguement. I own two of them.0 -
Chances are good that they are illegal under the current moronic law. If this law soon dies a well deserved death this sort of thing will be academic. The question is meanwhile whether someone antigun DA goes after you if they find out you have some of these 'dangerous' items. Do you really want to spend time in the Graybar Hotel for a couple extra rounds in your magazines? Not really worth it IMHO.

JMMSID,
I asked a very similar question about H&K USP hi-cap magazines last year on this board; here's the link to it...

JudgeColt chimed in with a very informative reply on the subject that I think you might find helpful; it certainly was to me.0 -
As I recall,
The gun wasn't produced before '94 neither were the mags. Any High cap for a USP expert is illegal. check out the hkpro boards. www.hkpro.com. I read about this on that site I believe. The mags were made for Europe and did not have the L-E/Military use only stamp on them but were definately produced after '94.0
