FN FAL scope mounts

Hi, I have two FAL's that I'd like to scope. I know of four mounts available, ranging in price from more than $100 to as little as $39. ARMS is the most expensive. DSA has one for $69. B-Square and Tapco sells one for $39. Are these cheap ones any good? I have heard that older mounts for the FAL were notoriously bad. Anyone have any experience with any of these?

  I have no personal experience, but www.falfiles.com has tons of info.

  I have a Bsquare on one that has worked fine. You need to be sure you get one that doesn't block removal of the bolt. I looked at an older model Bsquare FAL mount at a gunshow that was made that way. Some of the more expensive mounts are all steel.

  I wasn't real thrilled by the ones on the market, had a machinist make a one piece custom unit for me that slides in place of the existing bolt cover. Then used Kimber quick release rings and bases....easy to slide the scope off for open sights, and returns it back to zero in seconds. I think it cost me about $125 to have made.
