Breaking in new jump boots !
Is there an easy way to break in a new pair of jump boots? Thanks!

As in jumping out of perfectly servicable aircraft that's not on fire jump boots? Or new hunting boots? With either, the only way is by wearing them and walking a lot. And you thought I was going to say, jump a lot. So the answer is no, there is no easy way. 0 -
Get yourself some cushy insoles! Past that, I won't tell you how to shine em, thars Drill Sergeants for that!

When I was younger and couldn't afford good boots, I'd buy cheap leather boots and soak them inside and out with water, and wear them until they were dry. Now, I haven't used, nor recommend soaking the inside of Gore-tex nylon boots, it'd be kind of pointless I recon.

Somepeople do soak them in water and them loation them up real good. If you dont they seem to fall apart faster.

Do it in warm weather when the boot is more soft and flexible.
Once took some boots, that didn't want to break in, trout fishing.
They became the best fitting boot or shoe I ever had.0 -
Take 10 feet of rope and tie the boots to one end of the rope. Tie the other end to the bumper of your truck and drive 30 miles. If that doesn't do the trick, try another 30. Should work by then. 0 -
I jump in tennis shoes. Issued was, I, believe, Cochran (sp?)-been a few years. As previously mentioned: wear them-also spray a mist of water inside. Jumping for quite a few years, since 1970-but only 187
jumps. I have no idea upon your intentions but for "show" we use to use "Glow Coat". Passed military intelligence. Ankle support is very important. There is probably a site for real "jumpers". No idea of your intended purposes. Good luck. 1010 -

This will help with those boots. Now if you are in the service I wouldn't do this with Cohcran(sp) jump boots, those are made to take a shine better than the standard issue boots from the factory.
