SAVAGE 116FSS ?

IS THIS AN ACCURATE "OUT OF THE BOX" RIFLE? I WOULD LIKE ANY INFO ON THIS MODEL BEFORE I PUT IT IN LAY-AWAY. IM GOING TO ORDER IT IN .300 ULTRA-MAG {MAYBE!?!}

  I have a Savage 116ss and its a great gun, get lots of lookers at the
  range and shoots as good as it looks. mine is in .270 and its a keeper.

  I have the same gun as Jeanders and I agree 100%. I bought mine used for around 275$ with scope. One of the best deals I ever made.
