i am looking to sell my rifle because it is getting hard to find ammo for i was wondering if any one could give me an idea on how much i should ask for its a 303 british enfeild i just recently had the gun refinished wood and metal every thing on it is original except for the scope mounts. my email is kaos316@twcny.rr.com

Robagly You will need to give more information. Like is it a NOI or NOII. What manufacture and the date...
As for ammo. Have you checked out Cheaper Than Dirt? I have bought a lot of ,303 from them. Thay even have Sellier and Beloitt at a very resonable price.

and buy Remington .303 of the shelf. It's right beside the 30-40 Krag

Surplus is about $8 or $9 per 32, some better deals occasoinally. SB can be had for about $7/20, or certainly no more than $9 per 20 , as can PMP. Are the scope mounts clamp on or drilled in? A sporter won't fetch too much but neither will a complete original gun unless in pristine shape. A No 1 Mk III refinished with scope mounts, gotta figure no more than $100 for a nice job, same for a No IV MkI or II. An all original even refinished might bring up to $200 depending on make.
