Safe to shoot ?

I have a Springfield 1903 in the 755xxx range and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a cut-off date where they are no longer safe or advisable to shoot ?[?] quote:

  Springfield receivers below 800,000 are made of "Class C Steel" not considered safe for modern HV loads.

  22WRF-- In the 40+ years I've been fooling with guns, I didn't know there were "blocks" of 1903 Springfields considered unsafe to shoot. Of course, I never studied 1903's in depth, but I would have thought I would have picked up that tidbit of info somewhere along the trail. Just goes to show you, there are always things to learn when it comes to firearms. Thanks for the enlightenment.
