Better combination gun

Which would be a better combination deer/antelope gun the 270 or 7mm mag. Thanks.

  both would work just fine, but I think most people would go with the 270 , cheaper ammo, less noise and recoil , but the most important question is, which do you shoot the best ? thats the one to use

  The great gun writer Jack O'Conner was a big fan of the 270, often said there wasn't an animal on the North American Continent that couldn't be taken with it. Considering the body mass of antelope and deer....the 270 & 7mm are superb calibers even if the shot placement is a little off.
  
  The 7mm has a flatter tragectory and would prove superior at longer distances. Won't go wrong with either one.
