settle a bet on deer rifles

My friend and I have a steak dinner bet on this question. What is the least amount of money it would take to buy a boltaction deer rifle(must be new) a adequate scope ( must be new) and at least one box of 20 rounds factory ammo. Who ever is closest to median amount given will win dinner. Thanks for your replies as always.

  Savage or Winchester combo as stated above. I also think the Rem 710 comes in a combo for the same price. I did see a Savage combo offered from a dealer for $299. It was the 110 wood stock version with a simmons scope in about 4 diff calibers. He usually always sells out. $350 is about median.
