Ruger p89
I bought a couple hand guns last fall. I have a Kimber 45acp high cap. Nice gun and accurate to. I like the trigger because it dont have a lot of free travel befor it fires. Its right there. It has a solid feel to it but not a lot of travel. I like the way it fires. The Ruger 9mm on the other hand seems like you pull back the trigger forever before it fires. My question is CAN this be changed. I like the feel of the gun in my hand but not the free travel the trigger has. If I could get it to feel like my Kimber I think I would like the 9mm just as much. Any body with advice ?

I bought a used Ruger p89 not long ago with VERY, VERY few rounds through it. It is stainless with a manual safety. The serial # is 312-68063. Could someone tell me when it was manufactured and an approximate value so I can know if I paid too much. 0 -
Did you get hi-cap mags with it? If not, used with 1 mag about $275.00. 0 -
According to pistol trader a nice used P-89 sales for about $350.00 -$400.00 thats the going price.
Best!!

You can call Ruger and they will tell you the year of manufacture and they will send you an owners handbook.
My P89 in stainless is sn.no. 304-437xx and it is mfg 1992.
I bought it for $300. freight incl w/ 2 15 rd mags and 1 30 rd mag here on GB.0 -
350.00-400.00? They are off their rocker. I can buy a brand new 1 at my local gun shop for 339.00 and tons of them about that same price go unbid on the auctions here.. 0
