Pre-64 Winchester Stock
I have a Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 308 Win. featherweight that I would like to find someone that can repair a small crack in the stock and rechecker it. The rifle was left to me by a very close hunting buddy when he died. The stock is in fairly good shape other than the checkering being worn completely smooth. It has a small crack in it on the forearm that looks to be fairly easy to repair. I'm from NE Oklahoma and would like to know if anyone could recommend someone in my regional area that could repair the crack and rechecker the stock.
