Can anybody advise takedown of this 7.65 cal pistol???? There is a spring loaded pin in the forward section of the trigger housing, but depressing it doesnt get me anywhere!!! Would be greatfull for any advise. Thanks. brian@americanwelding.com

  These are fine little pistols and have some very nice features that the Walther PP lacks. There are a couple of things you have to do before you can takedown the pistol; Be sure the magazine is removed, the hammer needs to be cocked, and the saftey lever in the ON-SAFE position. All of these have to be done or the pistol will not come apart. Push in the tiny latch in the front of the trigger gaurd (sometimes it is stiff) and move the slide forward about 1/2". The slide should now lift right off the frame. Now push the barrel forward to clear the extractor and lift it out of the slide. I don't advise stripping these pistols down any further, except for parts replacement. I hope this information helps you.
