Best Tumbler

I've pretty much outgrown my small Lyman 600 tumbler and am considering something bigger. Running multiple batches is getting to be a real chore. I was thinking the Midway/Frankford Arsenal might be a good choice. I figure the Lyman can still do a batch of small cal brass while the other takes on the big bore cases.

  I have been using a Midway tumbler for about 10 years. It is a very good vibrator type that works on all types of brass.

  I have a Lyman 600 that I bought a larger Midway bowl for and installed it, works great.I had to add a small piece of threaded rod with a tall nut so you could use the cover.Hard to explain but easy to do as you will see when you put on the new bowl.If you need a picture I can send you one.

  I've been using an "ULTRA-VIBE 18 since 1984.. lots of hours..A dab of lube on the motor shaft that the excentric weight is hanging on and it's off to the races for another 20 years..

  I've had a Dillon for a lot of years and really reccommend it. When I got mine, I purchased the package deal which included the separater. Here is the link if you would like to see what they have.......

  I like the idea of using the bigger Midway bowl. I could order that and try it out. Beats buying another tumbler.

  The big Dillon and separator
  Or the Lyman 2200 with the bottom spout will both fit your needs.
  I have both and love them.

  Midway makes a good low-cost tumbler, but for high volume work, go with the Dillon.
