marlin golden 39A

I am really confused. I have a marlin 22 marked ORIGINAL GOLDEN 39-A with serial number 212xxxxx. Can anyone tell me when it was manufactured and approximate value. I would guess about 90%.

  Golden made from '57 - '87. If oil finshed stock it is pre '70 and add 30%. In 90% book has it at $250 but it will bring more.
