10/22 80% receivers
Has anybody had anything to do with one of these items It is a Stainless steel 10/22 receiver with 80% of the machinework done. It has a weaver rail cast into the top. Any information would be appreciated. Thinking about building an all stainless steel 10/22 Bull barrel rifle. (following all of ATF's regulations of course.) They use to be sold on GB by a member called the Tannery or something like it.

I found this Home Gunsmithing web site a while ago. Lots of stuff about building 80% receivers including 10-22s.

I'm thinking about a 10/22 project myself, when I get done with three or four others I'm working on.

You can get nearly everything you need from Volquartsen.com (including receivers) they are pricey but in my opinion there's none better...

Unlike military surplus, these can be expensive and time consuming to build.
I have built up some of William's AR and 1911 80% receivers but the 10/22 will be hard to get cheap parts for.
