Mag extension for SP-10

I've been contemplating buying a SP-10, however they only hold 2+1. I checked the Remington website and they list a mag extension for the SP-10. Anyone know anything about these? I'm guessing it probably ups it to 4+1. Also, what is involved to install one? Thx.......
