One more question on my Loomis...
Captain Kirk answered my question as to the value of my Loomis Double Barrel shotgun but I have a follow up question. I just put the Loomis up for auction and have received a few e-mails from people that are confused about the origin of this gun. Captin Kirk told me the Loomis was made between 1890 and 1895 in Birmingham England. Through my research I have found that F.A. Loomis shotguns were made by the Crescent Fire Arms Company who were U.S. gun makers from 1892 to 1935. I just assumed that the Loomis was made in Birmingham and imported by Crescent. Is this assumption correct and if so is my gun considered an American made or British made shotgun.
Thank you, Jeff
