    Simson & Company of Suhl Germany was in business between WW I and WWII. Dateing roughly between 1922 & 1935. There mostly known for assembling & manufacturing Lugers, at first from parts left over from WW I, then from scratch in the mid 1920's.
    They also made a vestpocket .25 automatic during the same time frame.
    Your .22 rifle is the first I ever run across made by Simson & Co..It might have some collectors value if it's still in factory original condition, even without the stock.

    The company actually continued after 1935 as "Berlin Suhler Waffen". Because the company was Jewish-owned, the Nazis took control in the mid-30s
