+P+ Question

Yep....it is legal for them to sell it!

The Federal laws don't prohibit them from doing so. If you're worried about your own State or Local laws regarding this ammo, check out the laws. Some States/Localities have their own ideas....er, laws sometimes!

FYI the Cops don't have access to any ammo we don't have access to as civilians.

Some States prohibit tracer rounds because of fire danger, etc., others say you can only hunt with.....yada yada, but mostly you will find the same ammo anywhere in the gun stores, ammo shops all around the United States. Even though its marked +P+ or +P or "Nasty Sh**" doesn't make it unavailable to us poor civilians. Now I've said that, watch me get flamed!

I'm pretty sure +P+ is perfectly legal for civilian use as I see it for sale at gun shows. I bought some Federal Premium .40S&W 155 gr. HP's a while back at a gun show. They were law enforcement overstock. However the dealer had cut off the part of the label saying so. Probably to avoid confusion such as this.

+p+ will beat the hell out of your gun. Why not get a bigger gun?
Also it is legal for civilians. If you load your gun hotter than +P+ you need your head examined. Also a firm as big as CDNN isn't going to violate laws like that.

Yes +P+ is legal for CITIZENS to use. Cops are civilians, unless they are in the military.

    Just a pet peeve.

Actually some LE agency's forbid the use of +P+ believe it,its true.In a Civil suit it looks bad if the Officer was useing +P+,its not Politically Correct shall I say.Im the Firearms Instructor for our Dept. And I dont want to use it.It will wear out a gun very quickly.Corbon 125gr HP .357 sig is our choice of ammo.

    Best!!
