    If it is all original, it would be worth a lot because it is a "one-of-a kind." All of the other Winchester 1897s are shotguns. I think you perhaps are confusing Marlin with Winchester. The Marlin 1897 in .22 is most likely what you're interested in pricing, but you'll have to be a bit more descriptive. No one on this sight will hazard a guess as to its value without first knowing the percentage of its metal and wood remaining based upon 100% when new. Any alterations from original manufacturing would also be needed. Serial no. in "1234XXX" format will help establish its year of "birth."
