How can the pistol pinch her finger? Is it the trigger shape? Perhaps somehow the tip of her finger is squeezing between the trigger tip and trigger guard.

I did not like the shape of the trigger on my P32, so I took it out, heated it and straightened it so my finger fits on it better. (The "hook" is too small for my finger.) I also did a bit of grinding on the trigger until I liked the feel of it. My trigger is much straighter now, and I like the way it feels better. (I had to grind off the back so the straighter trigger could be pulled far enough to the rear to release the hammer.) I no longer pinch my finger on pulling the trigger. Is that what is happening to your wife's finger, but on recoil?

If your wife does not like the recoil of the locked breech P32, she will really dislike the sharp blowback recoil of the others mentioned. The Guardian .380 weighs 18 ounces empty and is about Chief Special size, but thinner of course. Little Berettas? The Beretta is also huge, being Chief Special size as well, and weighing about 14.9 to 16.5 ounces (depending on construction materials) empty. An AirLite Chiefs Special with a titanium cylinder will weight about 12 ounces empty.

I suggest you work with the trigger on the P32 because it is, in my opinion, head and shoulders above the other two mentioned.

I bought a P-32 and didn't like the trigger, or the size of the trigger guard. I do have a Beretta 3032 Tomcat that I love. It weighs more than the P-32, but I like it a lot better. Find a range that rents guns and let her shoot one. I think she will like it.

    Measure twice, cut once.

    dheffley,

The range we go to does rent guns, but none in the size she's looking for. The smallest they have are mini Glocks.
