weaver scope question ??
i was at gun shop today and looked through a v16 seems like they good glass in them my question is how do they hold up to hard use not abuse? and warranty and ect... i want the good the bad and the ugly on them.

Cowdoc, this is really not a direct answer to your query, but since you have no replies... Weavers are generally good for their price range. They are not Burris, Leupold, Nikon, or Pentax, but maybe just below the Pentax. There are a lot of Weavers still around from 40 years and more ago. I have an old Weaver K-6 still working. That said the old Weavers were built by a substantually different company than the new Weavers. I also have a Grand Slam on a .308 and it does a fine job for the price. With optics, the more you pay the more you get, but you don't always need top of the line to get done the job you want to do. 0
