Hesse Arms, --review anyone?

Im looking to replace my Colt Ar-15 I had to sell it a few months ago, got my finances back on track, but this time im going to look for something a little cheaper. I saw Hesse Ar's from 475$ to 550$.
anyone ever owned a hesse AR?

  If you want to save a few dollars, get a Bushmaster. You'll be happier in the long run.

  I had the opportunity to meet a Hesse employee, and asked him about their less than exemplar reputation for quality. He told me their theory was to get as many out there as possible, and worry about the bad ones when they came back. However, it being a very small operation, they would concentrate on the 'getting them out', and the warranty returns always took a back seat. That is why they take so long to be returned. Even he said that they were "just shooters". and that much better guns were out there for just a little more money.
  
  Personally, I chose an Olympic, built from a kit. It may not be one of the "ABC"'s", but it functions flawlessly, and puts them all in the same hole. I would recommmend them to anyone.

  I bought the Oly, and I've never wished that I would have bought a different gun.
